Steve Patmore is a purpose-driven professional whose commitment to the pharmaceutical industry is deeply personal. His perspective on healthcare was profoundly shaped on Friday, November 29, 2024—the day his family celebrated his daughter Mia’s victory over leukaemia by ringing the bell at Leeds General Infirmary.

When Steve first joined the pharmaceutical industry, he felt as though he had won the lottery—finding meaningful work that aligned with his core values of kindness, curiosity, and making a difference. However, spending long days in oncology wards, witnessing the resilience of children and families at every stage of hope and heartbreak, redefined his understanding of what truly matters. He came to see that real fortune lies in health.

This firsthand experience of the urgency of patient care and the immense challenges faced by healthcare teams ignited his passion for excelling as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL). Today, Steve is driven to bring exceptional value to clinicians, knowing that their work transforms lives—just as it transformed his own.
