With over 25 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, Irene has worked in a variety of roles including field-based sales, account management, learning and development, and first- and second-line sales leadership. During this period, Irene has sold, trained products and skills, and managed teams working across a range of markets including men’s and women’s health, cardiovascular, respiratory, and oncology. Her experience in working with a variety of marketing and medical teams has also provided her with valuable insight into these areas of the pharmaceutical business. Combining this wide experience with 14 years working as a Nurse and Midwife in the NHS prior to entering the industry, has enabled Irene to develop and utilize a patient/customer-focused approach that has been integral to her success throughout her career. Utilizing her insight and expertise gained in working in a customer and commercially-focused environment has enabled Irene to develop and demonstrate her skills in delivering Customer and Advocacy development and it is these skills that she brings to the Life Science Access Academy.
