Steve is an experienced market access leader with a successful track record in the Biopharmaceuticals/Life Sciences Industry. He has developed sound commercial acumen, a solid understanding of Public/Government Affairs, excellent communication skills, coupled with an ability to support, motivate and lead teams to achieve successful access within complex pricing & reimbursement environments.

A deep understanding of the complex reimbursement and policy landscape allows him to develop compelling payer value communications including value propositions, advanced product notifications and budget/resource impact scenarios to align with national and local Healthcare priorities.

His strategic and analytical market access skills ensure a focus on the relevant evidence and key stakeholders to deliver early commercial success, working collaboratively within cross-functional teams (HEOR; Medical; Supply Chain; Pharmaco-Vigilance; Business Insights; Regulatory; Legal; Regional/Global) and engaging with an extensive network of senior stakeholders.

A creative thinker, he has successfully solved complicated market access and pricing challenges to bring innovative technologies to patients at the earliest opportunity and led high-profile market access projects such as market access launch strategies, NHS In-Year Service Development early access funding programmes and the Accelerated Access Collaborative ‘rapid uptake products’ initiative for cladribine tablets in MS to drive system-wide access and uptake.

He possesses a Bachelors degree in Chemistry from Heriot-Watt University.
