Richard has over 39 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry and vaccines having worked for MSD Vaccines, Sanofi Pasteur MSD, a joint venture between Sanofi Pasteur and MSD and previously Servier Laboratories all of whom supplied vaccines to the NHS across the UK.
Richard has wide range of vaccines experience in a number of different roles which have given him an excellent understanding of vaccine development, introduction of new vaccines and new immunisation programmes into the UK’s national immunisation schedule. He also understands the importance of effective vaccination programme implementation and tackling inequalities as part of this wider public health strategy.
Qualified with a Masters in Public Health Richard has an excellent understanding of and insights into the contribution that immunisation programmes make to Public Health here in the UK and can provide real insights into some of the key components that are important in the introduction of new vaccines and the setting of immunisation policy.
