Richard Chivers - Life Science Access Academy

Richard is responsible for operational planning and delivery for NICE Advice and NICE International. This includes overseeing the management of all services, using continuous improvement to optimise its approach to engagement, and working closely with stakeholders and business partners to develop new policies, processes and services.

Having been on the team since 2010, Richard has played a key role in designing many of the services used within NICE Advice, including parallel services with other national and international agencies.

Richard is qualified to a postgraduate level and has also worked as Head of Business Development for the NHS Transformation Unit, where he was responsible for the growth and diversification of the business, commodification of new and existing services and raising awareness of the organisation within the health and care sector.
