Raheel was born and bred in Nottingham and now lives in Sheffield with his wife and two daughters. Raheel has a bit of a love affair with appearing on TV programs becoming 5 times champion on Countdown and making successful appearances so The Chase as well as The Weakest Link. Over the past year, Raheel has had a very busy time indeed, appearing on this season’s MasterChef competition, launching his very own virtual cook-along and bake-along sessions from his home kitchen with his daughter Isla, appearing on BBC Radio to discuss the charity fundraising they have both done for the NHS charity and working with local schools and charities to bring homecooked food to everyone’s home in his unique style. With a background in Learning and People Development, Raheel hopes to continue this cooking love affair and to spread the joy of food and learning how to cook too as many people as possible.
The cook-along concept
This is a unique format and one that Raheel has perfected having delivered numerous sessions online to large audiences. The idea is that Raheel creates authentic homestyle curries that he would serve to his own family, so this truly is an insightful experience.
