Mark Wilkinson

Mark has held executive posts in the NHS for the last two decades. He established both Central Lancashire PCT and Barnsley CCG as Chief Executive / Chief Officer. More recently he has gained significant acute sector experience including (for the last three years) working in the fully integrated Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board as director of planning and performance.

Fairly uniquely Mark also worked for AstraZeneca for a formative spell and, on rejoining the NHS, took up a role promoting the uptake of cost-effective medicines and medical technologies and seeking to improve the NHS / industry relationship. Alongside his NHS role, he is now providing market access consultancy to the life sciences industry.

Mark is passionate about leadership and increasing the contribution the NHS can make to the communities we serve.
