Mala Ubhi

Mala is a clinical leader in the NHS with multilevel insights from her local, regional, and national roles. Mala is a longstanding GP Partner in Cheltenham and a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners. Mala is Gloucestershire’s Integrated Care System Clinical Digital Lead and Clinical Lead for Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health, and Inequalities, previously serving on the Governing Body Board of the regional Clinical Commissioning Group. Mala is a Clinical Advisor for NHSE, contributing to workstreams around referral optimisation. Mala’s passions centre on inequalities in healthcare, coproduction, and user-centred design, and she places great value on the human beings at the heart of services. Mala is also an alumnus of the NHS Digital Academy and has recently completed independent research around the NHS App, contributing to a Master’s in Digital Health Leadership.
