Lee Chambers

Lee Chambers is a British psychologist, coach and founder of Essentialise Workplace Wellbeing. He holds an MSc in Environmental Psychology, and the majority of his work focuses on the intersection of well-being and inclusion in the workplace. At Essentialise, he is part of a team that assists and supports organisations in developing effective well-being strategies, measuring the impact of well-being, and delivering bespoke well-being provisions to clients across a range of sectors.

Prior to Essentialise, Lee had a diverse and varied career, including time in corporate financial risk, local government and elite football, having worked for the likes of Everton FC, Bolton Council and the Co-operative Bank. He is also the founder of data-driven videogame company PhenomGames and has drawn from this unique mix of industry knowledge to create flexible frameworks and bring best practices from a well-being and performance perspective.

He is also passionate about diversity and inclusion in the health and wellbeing sector and has lived experience of mental health challenges and losing the ability to walk. He is the Director of Wellbeing Lancashire, a CIC that focuses on health innovation and health inequalities. Lee was voted in the Top 50 BAME Entrepreneurs Under 50 in 2020 and won the Organisational Psychologist of the Year at the UK Enterprise Awards.

When not taking on the world of well-being, Lee can be found residing in Preston with his wife and two children, often out in nature or coaching disability sports.
