Lee Cornell

Independent Consultant

Lee Cornell

Lee has been involved with the generic pharmaceutical UK hospital market since 1990. After nearly seven years with the NHS working on the tendering and supply for medicines in NHS procurement roles, he moved into industry in 1996, managing the entry into the hospital tendering market and ongoing hospital business for three separate businesses (Generics (UK) Limited, Lexon and Arrow Generics) over 17 years. From 2013, he managed the hospital tendering operations and launched an innovative non-contract proposition for hospitals whilst working as part of the hospital team at Actavis (later Accord).

Since becoming an independent consultant in 2019, he has continued to specialise in the hospital tender market. His client base has included businesses wishing to enter the market for the first time, existing businesses that have needed help with mentoring and educating staff who are new to the sector, and helping businesses review their existing activities in order to refine their approach and achieve a better fit with the opportunities available to them.
