Prior to becoming General Manager in 2017, Kim served as Chief Operating Officer for the UK, where she played a leading role in supporting Teva’s global commercial integration planning during a period of unprecedented M&A activity.
Kim joined Teva in 1991 and has undertaken a wide range of commercial and leadership roles in her almost 30-year career with the company. A graduate of the Harvard Business School, Kim previously led Teva’s UK generics business and also served as Chair of the British Generic Manufacturers’ Association. Kim is also currently leading equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives at both the UK and European levels to make sure that everyone at Teva from all backgrounds can make their unique contribution.
Teva is the leading supplier of medicines to the NHS by volume and employs over 1,300 people in the UK. As a leading generic and specialty medicines company, Teva is responsible for 1 out of every 5 generic prescriptions and generates £3 billion in estimated generic savings for the NHS. The company’s operations also account for an estimated £6 billion of the UK’s annual gross domestic product.
