Kevin Power

Kevin started his pharmaceutical career in 1988 working as a Medical Representative for Daiichi Sankyo and then Nycomed. Kevin Joined Merck Serono in 1995 as a KAM, interim Regional Business Manager and Hospital Specialist/NHS Liaison Manager prior to becoming Training Manager and then Commercial Excellence Manager (UK and Ireland). Kevin is now Regional Training Excellence Director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Kevin is an associate member of the CIPD, having completed the Certificate in Training Practice (Distinction). Not only has he demonstrated success in the sales arena but has also demonstrated success in training. Kevin has successfully managed the Training and Development function within Merck Serono for the past 13 years.

Kevin’s aim is to ensure that Training Excellence within EMEA is aligned with the business strategy of the company with a positive outcome on peoples development and overall company objectives.

Kevin is also an accredited Insights Discovery facilitator, as well as Accountability Facilitator amongst many other training programs.

Kevin has a BSc in Biochemistry from University College Dublin and a BTEC Certificate in Management Studies from Harlow Business College.
