Haseeb Ahmad is the Global Head of Value & Access and Commercial Development and was the Country President of Novartis UK until April 2021. In his role, he is a member of Novartis’ global Pharmaceutical Executive Committee.

Haseeb is also President and Chairman of the Board at the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) through which he is an active contributor to the UK Life Sciences sector. As part of his presidency, he is also a Member of the Board for the ABPI and a board member of NHS England’s Accelerated Access Collaborative (AAC).

He has held senior in-country appointments, including Head of UK, Ireland and Nordics, Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Managing Director for MSD in Greece during the economic crisis, and above-country roles in Strategy, Operations, Sales and Marketing.

Haseeb is recognised as a leader who enables winning performance by working collaboratively with customers and has a passion for innovation in healthcare delivery.
