Clare Wakley

Associate Director of Homecare UKI, Medical Nutrition and Therapeutics at Baxter International Inc.


Clare is currently leading the UK and Ireland Nutrition and OPAT Homecare business for Baxter, responsible for over $65m turnover and over 50 staff across our Homecare operation. Baxter is a global medical device and pharmaceutical company who for 90 years have built a portfolio of technologies and services now available in more than 100 countries.

Clare has always had a strong commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in the workplace, and is currently leading the Menopause workstream within the Alliance for Baxter Women UKI  (a Baxter business resource group). She was responsible for driving the successful Baxter application for Menopause Friendly accreditation in 2022 – the first accreditation of its kind in Baxter.

Clare, has worked for over 25 years in nutrition sales and marketing roles across commercial medical/Pharma and FMCG organisations. She has direct line management and business development/innovation experience and has a huge passion for coaching and mentorship.

She is married to Jim, and a mother to Conall and lives in West Yorkshire. She is a huge fan of performance arts and music and is passionate about supporting children with neurodiverse and special educational needs.
