Bernie Coleman

Bernie is an experienced marketer and commercial leader, with broad experience in the pharmaceutical and Medtech industry.

Bernie began her corporate career in GSK following a PhD in Molecular Biology, working across clinical, marketing, sales and strategy, at local UK, Italian and global levels. This was followed by marketing roles of increasing seniority in the MedTech arena with Philips Healthcare, where, until 2017, she was the head of the Respiratory and Sleep business, with P&L responsibility and overall leadership of sales, marketing, customer and technical service, patient services and quality.

With her strong strategic and innovative approach, the UK business delivered year-on-year growth, with successful launches of a number of novel solutions into the UK market. This required an in-depth understanding of procurement as well as the NHS environment, facilitating successful collaborative working and subsequent market entry.

In 2017, Bernie established InnovaHealth Ltd, providing support to healthcare organisations wanting to enter or drive business in the UK market across the commercial, marketing and clinical areas. To date, InnovaHealth has worked with a range of organisations ranging from start-ups to established corporates. InnovaHealth is also working in partnership with a Dutch start-up to distribute an innovative stress incontinence solution in the UK.
