View Anjna Sharma's ProfileIn Anjna’s role as Director of Pharmacist Services and Workforce for Soar Beyond, Anjna leads the strategy, design, execution, and evaluation of many pharmacy-related services at ICS, Federation, and PCN level. In the last twelve months alone, Anjna has headed up 25 Pharmaceutical Needs Assessments commissioned by local authorities, which involve steering group engagement at the highest level with integrated care boards.
Anjna has a wealth of experience from the variety of her previous roles in the community, primary, and secondary care, and academia. Anjna began her career as a community pharmacist with Boots the Chemists and has held various roles from managerial to clinical. Prior to this, she also held academic positions at Nottingham and Demonfort Universities.
Anjna is passionate about improving the outcomes for patients through medicines by developing pharmacists to achieve this. Her strong project management skills and attention to detail have allowed us to systematize delivery and ensure successful and timely implementation to an exceptional standard.
