With 18 years’ experience in life sciences, my career to date has had two key aspects to it.

1) Market intelligence and customer engagement. I find it immensely satisfying to understand customers’ needs and drive innovative, impactful solutions that address them. I’ve been fortunate to work with a range of commercial, medical and market access life sciences teams – UK and Global – to drive growth through excellence in customer and patient engagement.

Most recently, this has included deep diving into the evolving UK life sciences landscape, understanding NHS policy, priorities and pain points. I’ve worked with leaders and their teams to gain deep qualitative insights into what healthcare professionals need, want, expect and how life sciences companies can engage most effectively. With eight years’ experience in a fast-growing, award-winning medical communications agency, I’ve also had the privilege of engaging with medical affairs teams and healthcare professionals across the globe to deliver medical education, medical communications and patient-empowering programmes in various therapy areas.

2) Marketing and brand transformation. Often alongside client work, I’ve also worked within global and UK life sciences vendors to grow revenue and brand success, across independent, private equity-owned and plc businesses. I’ve had the amazing experience of transforming the brand and marketing function of rapidly growing M&A business to drive global success. It gave me a solid grounding in strategy creation and execution, stakeholder and change management, communication and respect for what it takes to transform a customers’ view of a business.

Overall, I’m passionate about understanding market, customer and patient needs and shaping business solutions that grow revenue, customer advocacy and corporate reputation. I’m a natural collaborator motivated to find win-win solutions for patients, healthcare professionals and the life sciences industry.
